Abstract
Abstract - This article is important because it focuses on the fact that the global economy is involved in today’s globalization process, leading to changes in demand for trade services. Important proposals and recommendations have been developed to introduce innovative directions and tools in the field of trade to increase the purchasing power of the population in the context of a global pandemic. In the context of an innovative economy, special attention is paid to the efficiency of retail trade, the development of trade turnover and the use of merchandising functions in the implementation of these tasks is illustrated by several examples.
