TEACHING METHODS OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE TO YOUNG LEARNERS

Abstract

There are some methods, which are intended to improve the quality of education in preschool, and primary education of Uzbekistan. These teaching methods are based on the experience of foreign countries, in particular China. They are as follows:\n\n1. Working with visual aids, posters and books.\n\nRural primary school pupils usually grow up in an environment far removed from the English-speaking environment and children's thinking ability remains abstract, the process of children's acquiring new knowledge constantly based on emotions. By easy methodologies in teaching kindergarten and primary school age children, English language teachers make full use of the objects around them, for example cards and other teaching aids. When teaching words like "Banana" and "Apple", teachers can teach pupils new words by showing them these fruits as well as at the same time they can express color by showing fruits such as bananas and apples. Children are taught to use a foreign language by things in the classroom in order to organize learning activities.
