Abstract
This article deals with the holophrastic system of speech etiquette in the Uzbek and English languages and its elements at different language levels: morphological, lexical, stylistic, intonational, orthoepic, organizational, journalistic levels, as well as the use of politeness in communication through verbal and non-verbal speech. At the same time, as knowledge of cultures and traditions expands through the study of fraternal and non-brotherly languages, each person begins to discover points of view and practices that are similar and different from their own culture
