Abstract
The history of the Bukhara khanate has always been viewed with interest in the countries of the world. Recent research shows that the Japanese state was also interested in the Bukhara Khanate in the past centuries. In this article, the contribution of the Japanese professor Hisao Komatsu to this issue is mentioned. The article also gives a brief account of the work of Toru Saguchi, a Japanese researcher who provides information on the diplomatic and trade relations of the Bukhara Emirate with the Chinese state (Chinese dynasty).
