Abstract

Objective: to evaluate the clinical efficacy of cholecalciferol in the complex treatment of bronchial asthma in children.\n\nMethods: A prospective study included 60 children with bronchial asthma. To investigate the level of vitamin D supply in the blood serum of children, the level of metabolite 25(OH)D was determined. Serum vitamin D (25(OH)D) levels were analyzed before and after treatment by enzyme immunoassay.\n\nResults: The results of this study revealed an existing relationship between vitamin D levels and the course of BA.\n\nConclusions: Our results confirm that the combined use of vitamin D in complex therapy has a positive effect on the clinical course of the disease, its dynamics, which allows to improve treatment and preventive measures and prevent adverse outcomes.
