LANGUAGE TEACHING METHODS AS DEVELOPMENT OF A COMMUNITY OF LINGUISTS, RESEARCHERS, TEACHERS AND STUDENTS

Abstract

In this article, I have considered the main FLT(foreign language teaching) methods still in use and presented the theory of language and learning underlying them, their main features, activities and techniques as well as three main language learning issues. Finally, as a conclusion, a connection is established between FLT methods, innovation and classroom research, as a way of teacher development and learning improvement.
