FEATURES OF INFLUENCE OF THE COMPLEX BIOLOGICALLY OF ACTIVE SUBSTANCES OF PLANT ORIGIN IN CONDITIONS OF HIGH AIR TEMPERATURE ON ENERGY INDICATORS OF LIVER MITOCHONDRIA
Abstract
Abstract: In experiments with isolated rat liver mitochondria, it was found that the biologically active substance LEMONZHI (BAS), consisting of a complex of agents - lemon, tea powder, ganoderma extract, affect the parameters of oxidation and conjugated phosphorylation in the case of using succinate and α-ketoglutarate as oxidizable substrates respectively. A single intragastric administration of biologically active substances to rats in the amount of 0.5 and 0.75 ml/100 g of weight, when exposed to high air temperature, affects the oxidative activity and energy conjugation of the succinate oxidase system. Exposure of laboratory animals to increasing doses of biologically active substances (from 0.25 to 1.0 ml/100 g) at optimal temperature for 15 days is accompanied by progressive activation of the rate of oxygen consumption in mitochondria and uncoupled metabolic states, and also causes an increase in respiratory control and speed phosphorylation of added ADP (control 380C). Animals exposed to high temperatures (38-400C) exhibited respiratory depression and oxidative phosphorylation in liver mitochondria relative to the optimum air temperature (220C). When administered to rats with BAS in doses of 0.25; 0.5 and 1.0 ml / 100 g, when exposed to high air temperature for 30 days, activation of respiration in the V3 metabolic state and an increase in respiratory control in relation to the effect of optimal temperature are achieved.
