Abstract

Respiratory diseases continue to lead among the causes of child and infant mortality. The role of the pathology of the bronchopulmonary system among the causes of morbidity and mortality in newborns is especially great. This article provides information on the clinical and laboratory aspects of congenital pneumonia in newborns and analyzes the work of scientists who have conducted research in recent years.
