Abstract
The article presents the results of the influence of the surface properties of paper and speed on the quality of reproduction of offset prints. The direct method of atomic force microscopy was used to study the surface properties of paper. The roughness of the paper was studied on the scanning probe microscope Solver HV, as a result of which topographic images, the profile of the relief of the surface of the paper were constructed and the average values of the roughness R a were calculated. To study the effect of the surface properties of paper on the quality of reproduction, impressions were obtained on a Heidelberg SM-74 sheet offset printing machine.
