Toxicological assessment of soy protein isolates "ALFA SOY 001"

Abstract

Abstract. The results of the toxicological assessment of soy protein isolate ALFA SOY 001 based on studies in the scope of the toxicological passport are presented. On the basis of studies, it has been established that, in terms of acute toxicity, it refers to low-toxic raw products, does not have a cumulative, irritating effect on the mucous membranes of the eyes (Iir = 0 points), and sensitizing effects (Is = 0 points). The results obtained allow us to conclude that with repeated oral intake of the soy protein isolate ALFA SOY 001 there is no systemic toxicological effect.
