Abstract: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is an independent nosological form that represents a disease characterized by air velocity limitation associated with the pathological inflammatory process of the lungs. In chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, this process is irreversible and progresses continuously, causing serious cardiovascular complications.
