Abstract
In this article, the properties of distance education systems, the principle of modern education were studied. The problems and types of distance learning technologies used in the learning process have also been studied. The pros and cons of distance education are considered. The threats to the normal functioning of the e-learning system and the risks associated with students and the risks associated with the teaching staff have been studied.
