CHACH IS THE ADMINISTRATIVE CENTER OF THE WESTERN TURKISH KHANATE

Abstract

This article analyzes the activities of Chach as the administrative center of the Western Turkic Khanate during the early Middle Ages based on archeological and written sources. The article describes the administrative management of the oasis by comparing the views of foreign researchers on the activities of the economic, political and administrative centers of the oasis with the data in written sources.
