AbstractIn the process of forming the professional competence of technical students of higher education institutions, a whole set of pedagogical conditions must be implemented for the organization of independent work on the basis of distance learning.Research shows that the importance of such pedagogical conditions is reflected in the following:The formation ofpositive motivation in students to work independently in the teaching of general subjectsEnsuring the readiness of teachers and students to use distance learning technologiesTimely and prompt replenishment of the information educational environment with educational contentTo establish interdisciplinary links between technical sciences and the content of other specialties.
