AbstractAlbert Camus (1913–1960) was a French writer, philosopher and existentialist thinker. Existentialism (from lat. exsistentia - existence), or the philosophy of existence, the direction of modern philosophy that emerged in the early XX century in Russia, after the First World War in Germany, during the Second World War in France, and after the war in other countries. Ideological origins - Kierkegaard's teaching, philosophy of life, phenomenology.
