Abstract
Abstract: The article defines the essence of the digital economy, its status in other developed countries, including Uzbekistan, the development of information technology, its basis in the digital economy, and the objective necessity of the transition to a digital economy in modern globalization. At the same time, the article discusses the existing problems in the widespread introduction of the digital economy in Uzbekistan in all sectors of the national economy and their solutions. At the end of the article are conclusions related to the digital economy.
