Abstract
High-resolution sonography has been widely adopted as the method of choice for screening and diagnosing scrotal pathology in childhood. Highresolution sonography makes it possible to quickly assess the condition of the scrotum in children, with little or no risk. There is a wide range of diseases associated with the pathology of the scrotum in childhood. This illustrated essay provides a comprehensive and illustrative overview of the use of high resolution sonography in pediatric scrotal lesions.
