Abstract

The article examines the ethnocultural and religious identity of the Arabs of Uzbekistan. We know that the radical socio-economic changes that took place as a result of the policy of the Soviet government had a serious impact on the changes in religious rituals. Because the law has a policy against Islam and its unique rituals. This also had an impact on the lifestyle of the Arabs. A mixed culture emerged in Soviet culture modernized with Islam. Secularized Islam did not disappear into the homogenous Soviet society, but rather used modernization to strengthen its identity (identichnost) and to protect itself from Russian and European ways of life. One of the main aspects of the religious ceremonies of the Arabs of Uzbekistan is their faith in religion. This problem is mainly analyzed in the above article.
