ANALYSIS OF INDICATORS OF PRIMARY AND GENERAL INCIDENCE OF AGERELATED MACULAR DEGENERATION IN THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN FOR THE PERIOD 2010-2019

Abstract

Objective: The purpose of the study is to analyze the incidence rates of age-related macular degeneration (AMD) in the Republic of Uzbekistan for the period 2010-2019, by region. Methods: the analysis of the dynamics of indicators of the general and primary incidence of AMD over a 10-year period was carried out, by copying and statistical methods. Results: over the period of study, the indicators of general and primary morbidity in the regions of the republic are uneven and tend to steadily increase. Conclusions: The overall incidence in Uzbekistan for the period 2010-2019. increased by 1.8 times and in 2019 amounted to 24.45 per 100,000 population. The primary incidence over this period increased by 2.3 times and in 2019 amounted to 8.38 per 100,000 population. The incidence in the regions of the republic varies considerably, which necessitates a number of measures to improve the quality of medical care.
