Abstract

In some diseases of the lower urinary tract (bladder atony, spinal injuries, urethral strictures over a long period of prostate disease, etc.), drainage is required for life (permanent catheter, Monroe system, epicystostomy, etc.). Due to a number of disadvantages of each of them, such patients require optimization of bladder drainage, in particular, by epicystocutaneostomy, which the authors discuss on the example of 224 patients.
