Abstract

The article reviews the latest literature on the role of brachiocephalic vascular hemodynamic stenosis in the development of chronic cerebral ischemia. general, external and internal carotids pathological deformation of the brachiocephalic artery and congenital or acquired changes in vascular configuration lead to impaired blood flow characteristics and the development of acute cerebrovascular damage or chronic cerebrovascular insufficiency.
