Abstract
Abstract. In simulation of the alimentary obesity in rats, alterations in lipid compositions of the tissues of the liver and skeletal muscles can be seen in the setting of hyperglycemia. Sphingomyelins, phosphatidylcholines, phosphatidylserines and phosphatidylinositols were found to significantly decrease in skeletal muscles and in the liver of the obese rats, while concentrations of lysophosphatidylcholines and phosphatidic acid increased. It was also found that concentration of total phospholipids in the tissues of the liver and skeletal muscles of obese rats decreased while concentration of neutral lipids - cholesterol, non-esterified acids and total lipids increased.
