Abstract

Abstract. The article presents the state of pro-(IL-6) and anti-inflammatory (IL-10) cytokines in patients with acne. 68 patients with acne aged from 14 to 32 years were examined. The results of the study showed that patients with acne have an imbalance in the functional activity of the cytokine status, characterized by an increase in pro-inflammatory cytokine IL-6 by 4.2 times and a decrease in anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10 by 2.3 times against the background of a relative increase in the level of total IgE compared to healthy individuals (Р<0,05). The anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10 had a correlation with increased colonization by the opportunistic flora staphylococcus spp. with mild severity of acne (r=0.6), and the level of proinflammatory cytokine IL-6 had an inverse correlation – r=-0.3 (P<0.05), which indicated the phenomenon of penetration and invasiveness of conditionally pathogenic microorganisms of the staphylacoccal flora, causing the chronic course of dermatosis.
