Abstract

In the process of developing a model for teaching the translation of scientific texts in the field of pedagogy, the conditions that ensure the effectiveness of the formation of general and etymological competence of translation competence based on the etymological component of terms, in particular: - integration of pedagogical, linguistic, cultural and translational knowledge; - Stimulation of educational and professional activity of teachers (formation and development of external and internal motivation); - The priority of the etymological component in the formation of translation competence and the relationship of etymological competence with cognitive, verbal, socio-cultural, sociolinguistic, pragmatic, compensatory, discursive and informative competencies.
