Abstract

The paper presents the results of field and experimental studies for the application of a new design of damping the energy of the flow at the lateral water intake. In the article, the method of increasing the efficiency of quenching the flow energy at lateral water intake and a new calculation method are improved. The proposed calculation option according to the methodology compiled with a number of assumptions demonstrated the possibility of using such a well design and a dampener with a high degree of reliability. As well as the results aimed at quenching the energy of the water flow of lateral water intake structures and recommendations on the calculation methodology of a water well with a lateral flow outlet have been developed.
