Abstract The development of the engineering industry is determined by the efficiency of the technological processes used in it. In a market economy, improving the quality of products and reducing their costs increase commodity competitiveness and lead to further development of production. The quality and cost of the product produced, the simplicity of its design, labor productivity. On the basis of vibration diagnostics, it was found that the average signal amplitude decreased with increasing force and rigidity as the center of the workpiece was approached, as well as a decrease in the vibration frequency, which had a positive effect on the quality of processing and reduced tool wear.
