<strong>Abstract</strong>: <em>The development of modern society, expressed in the general digitalization of all spheres of human life, includes a change in the educational landscape, which consists in transferring many types of educational activities to the global Internet. Given the emerging social conditions, a modern competitive specialist should have a certain level of digital competency. An analysis of the work in the field of digital competence showed that this concept is poorly understood. </em>
