Abstract

The position functions of the links and their characteristic points of the combined gear-lever mechanism of the elongated epicycloid are defined. Mathematical models presented describe the position functions of the links and their characteristic points of the gear-lever mechanism. The constructed mathematical models made it possible to illustrate the law of motion of the characteristic points of the satellite, connecting rod and slider with curves in the coordinate time–displacement system with the analysis of the curves obtained. A comparative analysis of the phase trajectories representing the points of the epicycloid and the center of mass of the connecting rod revealed the identity of the curve shapes of these points, which confirmed the correctness of the constructed mathematical models describing the position functions of the characteristic points and links of the planetary mechanism with the Assur dual-drive group of the second type.
