ROUND TIMBER SALES THROUGH THE EXCHANGE IN RUSSIA: EXPERIENCE AND DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS
Abstract
The article discusses the experience of the formation of the practice of exchange trade in round timber in the Russian Federation. It is noted that it is under development, and its testing is carried out on the basis of state budgetary and autonomous institutions subordinate to the executive authorities of the subjects of the Russian Federation authorized in the field of forest relations. It is emphasized that the sale of wood through the stock exchange will allow solving a number of important tasks for the forestry sector of the economy aimed at the development of forestry, current, strategic planning and forecasting, including the formation of a single center for transparent pricing for wood harvested by both state institutions and forestry enterprises.
