Abstract

Since there are enough sources on this topic, it is necessary to observe and draw conclusions about the nature of cultural and trade relations between the Sopol and Harappan cultures. Our observations show that relations between the two cultures were not of an expansionist nature, as some researchers claim, but in the spirit of cultural relations, based on simple trade laws. If these relations were in a state of expansion or war, then the priority of archaeological finds related to the military area over cultural objects would be felt. The general similarity of the palaces of Kalibangan and Jarko'ton, the parallelism in the architectural solution testify to the fact that the culmination of these connections, the symbiosis of architectural traditions, has already passed.
