Abstract

The article provides information about the changes in the health care system in Bukhara during the years of independence and the ongoing reforms. In particular, over the past 5 years, the buildings of the House of Mercy for a Woman and a Child, the Psychiatric, Oncological, Narcological and Infectious Diseases Dispensaries, the Regional Central Hospital, and a sanatorium for war and labor veterans have been completely renovated and equipped. The article discusses the strengthening of ties with medical centers abroad. At the same time, information is provided on the ecological situation in Bukhara and the provision of clean drinking water to the population.
