Abstract
This article is a scientific analysis of a number of articles on music and music education in the journal "Education and Teacher", published in Uzbekistan in 1920-1930. In the late XIX and early XIX centuries, the prospects for the development of music education, as well as the preservation of national musical instruments and their transmission to future generations, the organization of music education in accordance with modern requirements, educating young people in the spirit of love for national melodies
