Abstract

The article analyzes the reforms in the field of higher education development in Khorezm region during the years of independence, as well as the work done in this area and the problems in the field. As noted in the Action Strategy, the development of a program for the radical improvement of the higher education system in 2017-2021, the further improvement of curricula, the provision of paid services and the search for additional sources of funding are the mainstays of higher education.
