Abstract

The article presents data from our own study of mineral metabolism disorders in patients with ankylosing spondylitis. According to the results of the study, clinical and laboratory indicators of disease activity were high in patients with mineral metabolism disorders, and the incidence of extra skeletal symptoms was in direct proportion. With the use of drugs that correct mineral metabolism disorders, against the background of basic anti-inflammatory therapy in patients with ankylosing spondylitis, a decrease in the clinical and laboratory activity of the disease and an improvement in the quality of life were achieved.
