CERVICITIS AND PREGNANCY
Abstract
Purpose of the study. To study the effect of cervicitis on pregnancy to prevent complications of childbirth and the postpartum period in women. Materials and research methods. In the clinic of Samara State Medical University No. 1, 40 women with chronic cervicitis were studied in the obstetric department for 2021-2022. For comparison, there was a control group of 20 practically healthy women. The anamnesis of the disease, laboratory data were studied. Results: In the course of the study, pregnancy complications were identified in 20% of women in the main group. After the birth period was complicated in 17.5% of women in the main group, 5% in the control group. Conclusions. It is necessary to carry out the prevention of cervicitis before childbirth, especially in the third trimester of pregnancy.
