Abstract
This article describes the independent branch of computer linguistics, corpus linguistics, as a major and promising area of modern applied linguistics. In accordance with the topic, the study of the dialect as a means of social communication based on certain laws is analyzed, and the issue of electronic dialects is considered. Based on the world scientific experience, attention is paid to the theoretical and methodological aspects of the creation of the Uzbek language corpus on the example of national dialects, in particular, the Fergana dialect of the Uzbek language
