Abstract
This article provides general information about anthroponyms in a certain form of address that are active and constantly used in the process of communication, and that anthroponymic units of reference are one of the most necessary tools of the communication process, they serve to perform connotative, appellative (address) and emotive (feeling-excitement) functions in speech, and address units of speech activity - the functional characteristics of the anthroponymic units of reference, which are widely used in the speech process and serve for mutual communication-intervention, are revealed. The forms of appeal to the male audience typical for our people are analyzed.
