The usage of homonyms in English and Uzbek languages

Abstract
In the lexical system of the Uzbek and English languages there are words that are pronounced the same, but have different meanings - homonyms, each of which has its own characteristics of the language. This article discusses words that are phonologically and grammatically compatible, but have different meanings, ie homonyms, as well as analyzes the features of the English and Uzbek languages.
