Strategies for expanding students’ vocabulary in ESL lessons

Abstract

In this article, the author points out the main strategies for increasing the vocabulary of students (lexical games, the use of crosswords, rhymes, etc.), and also describes the methodology for applying these techniques in an English lesson.
