Development of Polymeric Composite Materials Based on Alcoholysis Products of Secondary Polyethylene Terephthalate
Abstract
The influence of the conditions of alcoholysis of secondary polyethylene terephthalate on the structure and properties of hydroxyl-containing polyester polyols has been studied. The dependence of the physicochemical properties of hydroxyl-containing polyester polyols on the amount in the reaction medium has been established. The synthesis of unsaturated polyesters based on polyethylene terephthalate alcoholysis products containing household waste has been studied. The structures of alcoholysis products and unsaturated polyesters based on them have been studied using IR spectroscopy. The technological properties of unsaturated polyesters synthesized on the basis of alcoholysis products of secondary polyethylene terephthalate that meet the requirements of the technology for the production of polymer composite and fiberglass pipes have been studied. The influence of the system of hardeners on the curing process is shown. It was revealed that the brands of unsaturated polyesters "PN-MA-02", "PN-MA-03A", "PN-MA-03" can replace imported resins of the "Body" brands in the production of polymer-composite pipes.
