Abstract

Migration is a significant socio-political indicator that is important to monitor and control whenever necessary, because migration can affect the social and economic situation in the country. This paper presents a study of the relationship between the level of migration and the quality of the political environment, which directly affects the state of sus-tainability of the country. The study includes several groups of countries: “established”, “stable”, and “at risk”. The purpose of the study is to develop a model for managing the migration flow through managing the information en-vironment in order to improve the well-being and other socio-economic indicators. It also proposes to develop rec-ommendations on migration level control. The key component of the study is the analysis of the information envi-ronment that reflects political stability. As a result, we have identified a number of problems related to the impact of migration on the socio-economic indicators of countries, and determined the relationship between the level of migration and the news (mass media) background. On the basis of the obtained conclusions, new relations can be built in the context of this issue, and the study of impact of the quality of political environment on increasing migration can be continued.
