Application of a two-axle synchronous generator excitations in small hydropower engineering and wind power plants

Abstract

Considered the relevance in the modern world energy economy of the use of renewable energy sources (RES) and provided comparative statistical data on the proportion of different sources of energy in the power. We have analyzed the factors that contributed to the development of the wind power industry in the countries with the largest share of the use in wind power devices in the world, and also considered different types of wind power devices.
