Abstract

U. Pirzhanov became famous as a poet, prose writer and translator in Karakalpak literature of the 20th century. His collection of songs "Song of love", "It was spring", "Rasm", "Okim", "Autumn leaves" (1983), prose books were published. U. Pirjanov Sh. Aitmatov's stories "Rozi bol, Gulsarı" (1979), "Kizil chalgishlı dilbarım", "Erta ketkan tirnolar" (1982) were translated into the Karakalpak language.
