Abstract

Abstract Soil-forming rocks of the tertiary period are widespread, most of which have a clay composition, are highly compacted and cause more extreme regimes, which cannot but affect biological conditions and, in total, soil formation and fertility. In this research, all experiment were carried out in the study area in Chirchik-Keles in Tashkent region. The results showed that depending on the parent rock, the degree of erosion, soil composition, and the density of the solid phase of soils varied from 2.60 up to 2.72 g/cm 3 and is 2.59-2.61 g/cm 3 in the upper humus horizons, and 2.67-2.72 g/cm 3 in the lower ones. Moreover, for soils on Tertiary deposits, the values were somewhat higher, which can be explained by the peculiarities of the mineralogical composition.
