Abstract

<strong><em>Abstract.</em></strong><em> The article provides an overview of methodological approaches to assessing the competitiveness of an enterprise. Existing methodological approaches and techniques that determine the level of competitiveness are considered. The main advantages and disadvantages of foreign and domestic methodological approaches to assessing competitiveness are highlighted.</em> <em>It is devoted to the consideration of the urgent problem of increasing the competitiveness of the food market in the region. The analysis of the main elements of the food market of the Republic of Karakalpakstan has been carried out, the factors affecting its competitiveness and the share of local producers in the food market have been identified</em><em>.</em>
