MANAGEMENT AND SOCIAL MEMORY IN THE URBAN ECOSYSTEM
Abstract
The article analyzes the concept of social memory and considers the opinions of scientists who have conducted scientific research on this subject. By studying the functions of social memory, its place in the urban ecosystem is clarified. The main attention is paid to the bearers of social memory and their direct and indirect activities in the urban ecosystem. The purpose of the study in the article is to establish a systemic relationship between social memory and the management of the urban ecosystem, as well as to determine the purpose, methods and means of using social memory in the process of managing the urban ecosystem of Samarkand. For this, methods of sociological research are used. Local, national and folk features of social memory are considered separately. The article and also highlights the state of social memory today.
