Abstract

This paper details the design and measurement of a “Lego”-like array panel that can be connected like pieces in a puzzle. The geometric flexibility provides a way to produce much larger antennas and antenna arrays that would traditionally be limited by the size of a 3D printer's build plate. Furthermore, by changing the size of an aperture we can control the directivity, gain, power-on-target, and beam width resolution.
