Abstract

Due to the progression of injuries, a rapid increase in the severity and frequency of brain injuries is observed (VV Lebedev et al., 1981; 1995, 2001, A. Poppetal, 1979, R. Spenceetal. 1990) and among them 50- Up to 70% of the skull is damaged. In this case, in patients with diffuse brain tissue damage, secondary extracranial traumatic factors had a significant impact on the clinic, course and outcome of brain damage. Study of secondary injury factors in patients treated with diffuse brain tissue injuries in the neuroresuscitation and intensive care units, 193 of 615 brain injury patients delivered to RShTYoIM AF in 2010-2015 had diffuse brain tissue injuries. The criteria for the selection of these patients were a) loss of consciousness after injury. b) Cases of intracranial hematoma requiring surgical intervention based on computed tomogram results, where no lesions were found. The age of the injured patients ranged from 16 to 76 years, the average age was 44.2 +- 1.2 years. was observed by period (around 21-45 years old) (46%).
