Abstract
This research paper explores the key features of modernist poetry, focusing on its emphasis on experimentation and expression. Modernist poetry, which emerged in the early 20th century, challenged traditional forms, structures, and themes prevalent in earlier periods. This paper examines how poets during the modernist movement experimented with language, form, and subject matter to express their unique perspectives. Through an in-depth analysis of selected modernist poems, this study highlights the significance of experimentation and expression as essential characteristics of this transformative literary movement.
