HIGHER EDUCATION SYSTEM IN THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN: modern trends and prospects

Abstract

The article discusses the international and domestic experience in the higher education development, implementation of different education forms, reveals the recent trends and its analysis has been given. The urgent need to improve the existing educational process management system under new conditions has been stressed, with a special focus on using the financial independence granted to the republic’s universities. The introduction of an progressive management in education is supposed to increase the competitiveness of universities and their investment attractiveness.
